Your day will look like this:

1. Participate in assembling and dismantling of the technical equipment;
2. Ensure the proper installation of the equipment according to the plan;
3. Ensure the safety of the technical installations at all times;
4. Respect and promote procedures and regulations set by Solotech regarding equipment handling and management;
5. Collaborate with other involved departments;
6. May be asked to operate technical equipment;
7. May be asked to ensure smooth technical operations during events;
8. May be asked to manage a team across different project stages;

Team management and supervision

• Ensure the application of safe working methods by Solotech personnel and contractors during their work periods;
• Coordinate operations and execution of departmental work during events;
• Receive project requests, plan and develop equipment lists accordingly;
• Propose solutions for issues and suggest improvements for technical realization;
• Advise and guide technicians based on your expertise;
• Lead a team (employees and contractors) and manage a department throughout project stages;

Client contact

• Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure high-quality customer service;
• Act as Solotech’s representative on-site during events, coordinate operations, and ensure timely execution of all technical steps;
• May act as the client’s contact person for questions, comments, or changes related to project management;

Your profile:

• Bilingual: French and English
• AEC or DEC in a relevant audiovisual field
• At least 6 years of relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of various technical equipment
• Knowledge in electricity and networking
• Possess permits for operating a forklift and/or aerial lift, and training in working at heights (asset)
• Master both official languages (asset)
• Ability to move between different sites
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of R2 software
• Ability to modify and design CAD plans with AutoCAD (asset)
• Knowledge of specialized technical software (asset)
• Flexible schedule
• Team-oriented with good cooperation skills
• Autonomous with a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
• Good at prioritizing and respecting deadlines
• Clear and logical communication skills
• Ability to anticipate issues and find efficient solutions respecting policies and processes
