The Borgen Project is seeking passionate individuals for a part-time Writer/Journalist program focused on content creation for BORGEN Magazine and their Blog. This unpaid role offers the opportunity to contribute to advocacy efforts against global poverty while gaining valuable experience. Participants can work remotely and have flexible start dates.
From CNN to The Huffington Post, the world is talking about the innovative movement that is downsizing global poverty. The Borgen Project believes that leaders of the most powerful nations on earth should be doing more to address global poverty. The national campaign is working to make poverty a focus of U.S. and U.K. foreign policy.

The Borgen Project is an international organization that works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine, and poverty.
With 20 years of experience in advocacy, The Borgen Project has supported the passage of numerous bills benefiting close to 500 million people in developing countries.
This role focuses on content creation for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog.
This is a part-time, 12 hours per week, 12-week unpaid remote program. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the program in fewer weeks.
No prior experience is necessary. We’re looking for passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of GPA or background.
This is an unpaid program, although college credit is available.
New programs begin every month. You can choose your start date.
