Job summary

Kitsaki Management Limited Partnership seeks a Working Chef to lead a culinary team at a remote fly-in mining facility in Northern Saskatchewan. The role features 2-week in-and-out rotations with 11-hour days and all-on-site meals, transportation, and accommodations covered.

You will manage food costs, uphold safety standards, and ensure top-notch guest experiences. Red Seal preferred but not required; must have kitchen management experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen management within the service industry.
• Shift work at remote sites such as mining facilities or exploration camps.
• Knowledge of vegan, halal and gluten-allergy cooking variations.
• Good computer skills: Word, Excel; Camp Manager programs.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred; first responder cert an asset.

This is a WORKING CHEF role, located at a remote fly-in mining facility or exploration camp in Northern Saskatchewan.

WE COVER THE COSTS OF YOUR TRANSPORTATION, MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS WHILE AT SITE.

SHIFT WORK & COMPRESSED WORKWEEKS REQUIRED; SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS WITH 11-HOUR DAYS.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST.
