Athabasca Catering Limited Partnership in Saskatoon is seeking a WORKING CHEF to lead a culinary team at a remote fly-in mining facility in Northern Saskatchewan. This full-time permanent role offers 64,000–68,000 CAD annually plus benefits, meals, travel expenses, and accommodations.

You will oversee food costs, inventory, and ensure food safety, quality, and presentation while managing a diverse kitchen crew under challenging shifts in a camp environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with kitchen management within the service industry.
• Shift work at remote sites - mining facilities & exploration camps.
• Knowledge of vegan, halal and gluten-free variations.
• Proficient with computers and Camp Manager programs.

This is a WORKING CHEF role, located at a remote fly-in mining facility or exploration camp in Northern Saskatchewan.

WE COVER THE COSTS OF YOUR TRANSPORTATION, MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS WHILE AT SITE.

SHIFT WORK & COMPRESSED WORKWEEKS REQUIRED; SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS WITH 11-HOUR DAYS.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST.
