Job summary

Athabasca Catering Limited Partnership is seeking a Working Chef for a remote fly-in mining facility in Northern Saskatchewan. Two full-time permanent positions, Regina location, 64,000–68,000 CAD per year plus benefits, meals, travel expenses and accommodations.

You will lead and mentor a culinary team, manage food costs and inventory, and uphold food safety standards. Shift work with 2-week in-and-out rotations; 11-hour days; must pass a drug and alcohol test.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of kitchen management experience in service industry.
• Ability to work shift work at remote mining sites and camps.
• Knowledge of vegan, halal and gluten-free variations in cooking.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; camp management software knowledge.

Responsibilities

**WE COVER THE COSTS OF YOUR TRANSPORTATION, MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS WHILE AT SITE.

**SHIFT WORK & COMPRESSED WORKWEEKS REQUIRED; SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS WITH 11-HOUR DAYS.
