Job summary

The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) to lead the kitchen team. The CDP will ensure the highest quality food production, maintaining safety and sanitation standards while minimizing waste.

This position pays $28.46 per hour, entails flexible scheduling, and offers various benefits including professional development and employee discounts. Candidates must have a Red Seal or equivalent, with 5 years' culinary experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a high volume restaurant or hotel.
• Experience in buffet, à la carte, production, and room service.
• Previous experience leading a culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure organization and cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Follow health and safety standards during food production.
• Prepare food items necessary for various menus and functions.
• Guide and direct kitchen staff including Demi Chef de Partie and Cooks.
