Stanley Park Pavilion in Vancouver is seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The role focuses on producing high-quality dishes from pre-determined menus, supporting banquet and event services, and contributing to menu development and kitchen leadership.

You will oversee daily prep, assist with budgets, ensure sanitation, and maintain consistent presentation. Experience in banquet settings and Red Seal/Food Safe Level 2 will be highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of culinary experience.
• Banquet experience is required.
• Red Seal Certification or equivalent.
• Food Safe Level 2 Certified (required).
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to high-quality, consistent culinary experiences.
• Ensure smooth kitchen operations and daily meal prep from menus.
• Assist with menu creation, budgeting, and new ideas.
• Provide instruction to the kitchen team and monitor service levels.
• Estimate weekly production needs and communicate with staff.
• Prepare and cook foods for normal service and events.

• Red Seal Certification(or equivalent)
• Food Safe Level 2 Certified (required)

Considerations

Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business. While performing the duties of this position, team members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool.

The wage for this role is $28.35 per hour.
