Job Description

  • Show a passion and creativity for food, ingredients and flavours.
  • Lead the team in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes with pride and precision.
  • Are responsible for running a section and supporting the Head and Sous Chef in a busy kitchen.
  • Are confident in managing, training and passing on your knowledge to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Management and administration

  • Be actively involved in meeting the department's targets by following cooking instructions, avoiding waste, respecting procedures and internal audits.
  • Assist in conducting inventories.
  • Help manage stocks of equipment by avoiding breakages.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
Diplomas/certifications required
