Responsibilities
  1. Plan, create, and prepare traditional and banquet menus, including dishes for weddings and corporate events.
  2. Manage ingredient procurement, supervise orders, and control inventory.
  3. Supervise and train the kitchen team.
  4. Ensure quality, presentation, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
  5. Participate in banquet preparation and execution, ensuring customer requests are met.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to enhance the customer experience.
  7. Innovate in techniques and recipes while respecting the tradition of the sugar shack.
Qualifications
  • Cooking diploma or equivalent training (an asset).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef, preferably in similar settings (sugar shack, banquets, restaurants).
  • Strong team management and menu planning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events.
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and good hygiene practices.
  • Creativity, passion for Quebec cuisine, and attention to detail.

Job Details
