Job summary

True North Airways is seeking an experienced Flight Operations Coordinator to support private charter operations from the Huronia Airport hangar in Midland, Ontario. This hybrid, primarily on-site role requires coordinating daily operations, communicating with pilots and maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient flight planning.

Qualifications

• Aviation experience in flight operations, dispatch, charter operations or similar.
• Experience working directly with pilots or flight crews.
• Strong organizational, time-management and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, adaptable and organized when plans change.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn operational software quickly.
• Initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the broader operations team.
• High level of professionalism, discretion and client-service awareness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily flight operations, aircraft movements, charter requests and flight schedules.
• Liaise with pilots regarding trip details, crew schedules, aircraft availability and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure aircraft availability and maintenance requirements are addressed.
• Monitor weather, schedule changes and operational factors that may affect flights.
• Assist with flight planning and operational preparation, as appropriate to qualifications and experience.
• Arrange fuel, hangarage, ground transportation, accommodations and other client and crew logistics.
• Communicate operational updates and changes promptly and accurately.
• Maintain accurate operational records and contribute to improving procedures and processes.
