Job summary

Aston Carter in Calgary is seeking a Change Management Trainer to lead and deliver training supporting readiness for new systems. You will develop role-based materials, coordinate sessions, and work with SMEs and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective content.

You will translate complex processes into practical learning content for frontline users, maintain materials as processes evolve, and participate in post‑go‑live learning support to sustain adoption.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in business change support, systems training, business analysis, learning delivery, or a related role within technology implementations.
• Experience delivering instructor‑led and systems‑based training to end‑user populations.
• Ability to translate system functionality and business processes into clear, practical learning materials and exercises.
• Experience developing or adapting training presentations, facilitator guides, exercises, user guides, job aids, and other learning materials.
• Practical knowledge of adult learning and instructional design principles.
• Experience working on technology implementation projects with OCM, BAs, SMEs, and stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training readiness and adoption for new systems and processes.
• Collaborate with the OCM team to deliver training support.
• Validate end‑to‑end user experience and identify impacts to training.
• Monitor changes to processes and system functionality and update materials accordingly.
• Prepare documentation, training materials, and communications for lifecycle readiness.
• Develop and maintain role‑based training assets including guides, presentations, and exercises.
• Translate complex functionality into practical learning content for frontline audiences.
• Plan training delivery requirements for learner groups, sessions, prerequisites, and logistics.
• Coordinate learner populations, schedules, and delivery with stakeholders.
• Deliver instructor‑led and hands‑on systems training.
• Validate content with SMEs and process owners.
• Refresh materials as processes evolve and ensure learning consistency.
• Support facilitators and resources to maintain content accuracy.
• Track attendance, completion, feedback, and training issues.
• Identify adoption gaps and recommend remediation or post‑go‑live learning support.
• Assist post‑implementation activities by gathering feedback and transferring knowledge.
• Collaborate with PM, OCM, and technical teams to drive successful implementation.
