Job summary

Aston Carter is looking for a Contract Training and Change Management Specialist based in Burnaby, BC, supporting readiness and adoption of new systems and processes.

You will develop and deliver instructor-led training, create job aids and user guides, and work with SMEs and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, actionable content. This role requires strong facilitation, documentation, and project collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years in business change support, systems training, or related role within technology implementations.
• Experience developing and personally delivering instructor-led and systems-based training to end-user populations.
• Demonstrated ability to translate system functionality and business processes into clear, practical, role-based learning materials and exercises.
• Experience developing or adapting training presentations, facilitator guides, exercises, user guides, job aids, and other learning materials.
• Practical knowledge of adult learning and instructional design principles.
• Experience working within technology implementation projects and collaborating with OCM, Business Analysts, SMEs, project teams, and operational stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly build working knowledge of unfamiliar systems and business processes and identify implications of evolving requirements and solution changes.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage assigned training activities, learner groups, schedules, materials, and delivery requirements within established project direction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training readiness and adoption of new systems.
• Collaborate with OCM team to deliver training support.
• Validate requirements and processes to understand end-user experience.
• Monitor changes and update training content accordingly.
• Prepare documentation and training materials for the project lifecycle.
• Develop role-based training materials and user guides.
• Translate complex functionality into clear learning content.
• Prepare session plans and logistics for learner groups.
• Coordinate learners, schedules, and delivery logistics.
• Deliver instructor-led and hands-on training sessions.
• Validate content with SMEs and BAs.
• Refresh materials as processes evolve.
• Support facilitators and maintain content consistency.
• Track attendance and learner feedback; report to Change Lead.
• Identify adoption gaps and recommend remediation.
• Support post-go-live learning and transition to business teams.
• Collaborate with project management and stakeholders to ensure adoption.
