The Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management (OECM) Centre of Expertise is a unit of Human Resources at the University of Manitoba. OECM provides strategic consulting, training, tools, and advisory services that enable leaders to successfully implement organizational change. OECM team members serve as trusted advisors to internal project sponsors by providing practical guidance, proven frameworks, consulting expertise, and capacity-building resources throughout the change journey. The unit provides consulting and training in diverse areas of change management and process improvement.
This position focusses on building organizational capacity by equipping leaders and employees with practical skills for navigating change. This includes designing and delivering training (in-person, synchronous online, and through E-Learning) in areas of process mapping, process improvement, leading people through change, navigating change, and other topics relating to supporting successful change adoption. The role also designs and builds resources that contribute to our change management toolkit. The key skills applied in this role are training design, training delivery, consulting, advising, communication (verbal and written), and client service.
