The opportunity:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Benefits professional to support and oversee the day-to-day administration of a comprehensive employee benefits portfolio within a large, dynamic organization. In this role, you will manage core operations including life insurance and long-term disability claims, leave of absence processes, and benefits data auditing, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations. You will act as a key resource for complex employee inquiries, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external insurers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies and supporting enhancements to systems, workflows, and plan design. This position also plays an important role in financial and reporting activities, including audits, annual benefits adjustments, and the preparation of data insights for leadership decision-making.

The qualifications and experience we’re looking for:
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required.
  • Professional designation, such as CEBS or GBA, is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of directly related benefits experience or related role in a large dynamic organization is required.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
  • An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and benefits systems is required.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritizing, communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Attention to detail, strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment is required.
  • Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
