Job summary

Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician at our Winnipeg, MB location. You will assist with maintenance, inspections and repairs on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting, and other life safety systems.

The role requires CFAA, electronics training, and fire alarm experience, with afternoon/night shifts; valid driver's license and strong customer service. We are an Edwards Authorized National Partner with a large presence across Canada, offering a

Qualifications

• Completion of CFAA required.
• Two years of community college in electronics is desired, or equivalent training or work experience will be an asset
• Previous training/experience in fire alarm systems is required
• Programming experience preferred
• Proficient in the use of computers
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
• Exceptional customer service skills and organizational skills
• Must be available to work afternoons/nights on an ongoing basis!

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will ensure that the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfaction are met
• Perform verifications on fire alarm systems
• Complete work orders and report in a timely fashion
• On-call for emergency service calls/work
• Act as liaison between customer & Troy
• Other duties as assigned

Job description

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba. Type: In the Office. Our Winnipeg, MB branch is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join their team! In this role, the Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for assisting with duties of maintenance, inspections and repairs on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting systems and other life safety systems as required.
