Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) on behalf of a well-established educational institution in Calgary. The role reports to the Vice President, Growth & Initiatives and CFO, delivering financial reporting and strategic analysis to support leadership decisions.

This 3-month contract requires strong analytical skills, senior stakeholder engagement, and the ability to build robust financial models and executive-ready dashboards.

Qualifications

• CFA designation with at least 5 years of financial analysis experience.
• Direct financial analysis at progressively more senior levels.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to senior leaders.
• Experience interacting with executive stakeholders and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports for executive leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis with CFO guidance.
• Develop insights and recommendations based on financial performance.
• Conduct variance analysis and reporting to senior leaders.
• Build and maintain financial models for planning and decision-making.
• Prepare dashboards, presentations, and reporting packages for executives.
• Identify KPIs, risks, and opportunities and provide scenario analyses.
