Job summary

FCC / FAC in Calgary is seeking a Specialist, Financial Strategy and Performance to turn complex financial data into clear, executive-ready insights. You’ll collaborate with business units, leadership and data teams to support strategy and improve performance. You’ll build financial models, run reporting, and develop quarterly performance reports while leveraging Python, automation, and visualization tools. A CPA or CFA and 4+ years FP&A experience are preferred, with a hybrid work option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics; CPA or CFA designation.
• Minimum four years in financial planning/analysis or related field.
• Strong knowledge of FP&A, forecasting, budgeting and performance measurement.
• Experience building financial models and business cases.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Run reporting and financial models to support performance.
• Deliver executive and corporate financial reporting including quarterly performance.
• Analyze financial information to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve reporting and decision-support.
• Leverage Python and automation to enhance reporting and efficiency.
