Job summary

Springbrook Flour Mill in Springbrook, AB is seeking a Certified Millwright for full-time permanent positions. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, service, repair, and safe operation of plant equipment to sustain production efficiency.

Wage is $43.65/hour with a $2.00/hour dual trade premium. On-call duties apply ~monthly with a $200 flat on-call rate, plus 6% RRSP matching. Health coverage and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Knowledge of quality control and BRCGS standards.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available for on-call work depending on business need.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, dismantle and position stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, feeler gauges etc.
• Troubleshooting any issues with hydraulic systems.
• Perform general facility maintenance.
• Participate in fumigation/heat treatment. Note: working in higher temperatures is involved during fumigation.
• Complete and comply with all health, safety and food safety training relating to the job.
• Ability to complete fall arrest, forklift, telehandler, and scissor lift training.

Your Team

P&H Milling: P&H Milling is Canada’s largest Canadian-owned milling company, producing high-quality flour and cereal products for bakeries, food manufacturers, and consumers. From coast to coast, we transform Canadian wheat into trusted products that feed families at home and abroad.

We are seeking a Certified Millwright to join our P&H Milling team. This role is responsible for conducting routine preventative maintenance, service, repair, and maintenance of plant and facilities equipment in a safe and efficient working manner. Maintaining the safety and reliability of machineries and equipment is critical in achieving optimal production efficiency of the plant operations and production.

Day to Day
