Job summary

Lethbridge Flour Mill is seeking a Certified Electrician to join the P&H Milling team in Lethbridge, AB. You will maintain and repair plant electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operations and compliance with GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications include a journeyman electrician or apprentice status, 1 year of electrical experience, and strong PLC/VFD and troubleshooting skills. On-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Electrician or registered apprentice
• Minimum 1 year electrical experience, preferably in industrial manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies, procedures, and standards
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electromechanical, and PLC-controlled equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair, test, and calibrate equipment to maintain operational efficiency
• Complete scheduled maintenance, plant inspections, and building maintenance as required, identifying issues and recommending corrective actions
• Follow preventive maintenance procedures and maintain accurate records using maintenance management software
• Monitor spare parts inventory and support procurement planning
• Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping, sanitation, GMP, food safety, and BRCGS compliance
• Maintain required documentation and records in accordance with quality and safety standards
• Participate in required safety meetings, training, and certification programs

Your Team

P&H Milling: P&H Milling is Canada’s largest Canadian-owned milling company, producing high-quality flour and cereal products for bakeries, food manufacturers, and consumers. From coast to coast, we transform Canadian wheat into trusted products that feed families at home and abroad.

We are seeking a Certified Electrician to join our P&H Milling team. This role is responsible for the repair of plant electrical and mechanical equipment in an efficient, timely and safe manner ensuring the safety of everyone on site as well as maintaining efficiency of production.

Day to Day

What You’ll Bring:
