Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited in Saskatchewan is seeking a Certified Millwright to join our P&H Milling team. This full-time, on-site position focuses on routine preventive maintenance, service, repair, and safe operation of plant equipment.

Candidates must be a certified millwright or a 3rd-year apprentice or higher, with welding and fabrication experience, and the ability to work in dusty or hot outdoor environments, lifting up to 25 kg. On-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Certified Millwright or current 3rd-year apprentice (or higher) is required.
• Welding and fabrication experience is preferred.
• Able to work in dusty, hot outdoor environments and lift up to 25 kg.
• Knowledge of quality control and food safety standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, dismantle and position stationary machinery per specs.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure proper alignment.
• Support health, safety and food safety training requirements.
