Job summary

WellFort Community Health Services (ON) is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant for the Health n’ Smiles team in Brampton, Ontario. This part-time, 0.8 FTE, permanent role supports under-resourced families in Peel Region.

You will prepare operatories, manage infection control, and educate patients on oral hygiene alongside the dental team. Previous experience in community clinics and Abeldent software is valued.

Qualifications

• Certified Level II dental assistant in good standing with the ODAA.
• Experience in a large dental clinic and community clinic preferred.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories and equipment; maintain infection control standards.
• Teach oral hygiene; participate in patient education and prevention programs.
• Perform chairside duties as part of the dental team.
• Maintain supplies and equipment according to clinic standards.
• Collaborate with dentist, hygienist and staff to support patient care.

Qualifications:
