Job summary

WellFort Community Health Services (ON) is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant for our Health n' Smiles team in Brampton. This part-time (0.8 FTE) contract role runs until January 31, 2027 with possible extension and offers a pay rate of $23.17–$27.92 per hour.

Locations include Brampton’s BCHC and SHWV. The successful candidate will prepare operatories, teach oral hygiene, perform chairside duties, and ensure infection control while supporting an interdisciplinary team dedicated to serving

Qualifications

• Certified Level II dental assistant in good standing with the ODAA.
• Minimum three years of experience in a large dental clinic.
• One year of experience in a community dental clinic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories and equipment, including infection control at start of day and between clients.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and prevention in collaboration with hygienist and dentist.
• Perform chairside duties and support clinical team as needed.
• Maintain infection control standards and universal precautions at all times.
• Manage supplies and equipment according to clinic standards.
