Job summary

WinField United Canada is seeking a Market Development Manager for Central Alberta to drive demand for proprietary brands and partner initiatives. You will train and support retailers and growers, using local insights and digital tools to enable success across the retail network.

Primary focus is customer-facing, with additional duties supporting trials and marketing initiatives. Strong presentation and data analysis skills are essential, as is the ability to work remotely while coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a 2-year diploma with extensive industry experience
• Experience in agronomy or ag retail sales with direct customer contact preferred
• Ability to create and present technical presentations
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with collaborative virtual teams

Responsibilities

• Allocate 75% of work hours to customer-facing activities
• Support Field Trial Initiatives, Answer Plot and Technical Marketing
• Collaborate with Agronomists and Marketing to share strategic messaging
• Provide agronomic training and technical support to retail partners and growers
