Job summary

QXO is seeking a professional driver to join our Calgary, Alberta team. This role involves pre-inspection, loading, site safety checks, and regular communication with dispatch to ensure timely product delivery.

You must have a valid Class 1 CDL, at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. We value safety and teamwork, with responsibilities including handling heavy loads and adhering to PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 CDL in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Pre-inspect truck, load materials, and verify accuracy of load.
• Set up job parameters, inspect site to ensure a safe environment to load and unload.
• Occasionally assist with lifting, pushing, or moving product as needed.
• Touch freight—may lift, push, or move product weighing 75+ pounds.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatcher to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure branch management is aware of potential hazards on site.
• Demonstrate daily commitment to safety and wear PPE.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring
