Role Summary

Reporting to the Catering Operations Manager, the Catering Server will provide food and beverage services to guests with friendliness, enthusiasm, professionalism, and efficiency.

Key Accountabilities
  • Deliver consistent professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests.
  • Assist guests with informative and helpful responses.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage items.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols when handling food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages, clear tables, and return equipment to designated areas.
  • Maintain safety in service corridors by keeping areas clear to comply with local fire codes.
  • Manage catering equipment and linens responsibly.
  • Address spills and breakages promptly.
  • Assist with the arrangement and movement of tables and chairs as needed.
  • Report any issues or complaints to department leaders.
  • Ensure proper handling, use, and storage of all equipment.
  • Oversee room setups and teardowns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma
  • Serving It Right certificate
  • Previous service experience an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Capable of performing well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
