Job Summary

Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures all events are executed accurately. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans and breaks down the event area; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Prepares buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Thoroughly cleans the location after each event.
7. Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
9. Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering equipment and facilities.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service at all times.
11. Maintains in-depth knowledge of the menu and available products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license may be required. Must obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by law.
