Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Casual Security Guard to monitor security systems, patrol premises, and control access at various sites. The role requires a Canadian work authorization, an Ontario security license, and a first aid certificate. A high school diploma and 6–12 months of security experience are expected, with strong report writing and tech proficiency.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Ontario security license.
• WSIB approved first aid certification - required.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Minimum 6-12 months of experience working as a security guard.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
