Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard in Ontario. You will monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and document events across diverse environments, including security operation centres and construction sites. This on-site role requires vigilance and strong reporting.

Position offers part-time hours with a starting wage of $18.35 per hour, GardaWorld Academy training, and potential for career growth. Uniform is provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Hold a valid Ontario security licence.
• WSIB approved first aid certification.
• Strong report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
