Job summary

Lifetimes-Living-Inc.-5 in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a Guest Attendant to provide compassionate personal care to residents. You will assist with Activities of Daily Living, monitor well-being, and help with dining services and light housekeeping.

Casual, flexible shifts with starting wage of $18.78 per hour. Completion of PSW program and ability to communicate clearly are required; CPR/First Aid preferred. We value dignity, confidentiality, and a heart for serving seniors.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized PSW program.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated understanding of/empathy for the needs of seniors.
• Willingness to update knowledge of regulations and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to the care plan.
• Monitor residents’ well-being and report changes to the Health and Wellness Manager.
• Provide general housekeeping, laundry, and recreational activities.
• Document Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) thoroughly.
• Ensure health and safety by following procedures and protocols.
• Assist with dining service and resident admissions/discharges when required.
• Provide emergency first aid/care until medical care is available.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information including medications.
