The Manor at Gravenhurst in Gravenhurst, ON, is hiring a Guest Attendant on a casual basis to support residents with daily living activities and well-being. The role reports to Health and Wellness leadership and emphasizes safety, compassion, and teamwork.

Qualified candidates will have a recognized PSW program, CPR/First Aid preferred, and a strong empathy for seniors. Flexible hours and a supportive environment are offered in this role.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of a recognized PSW program.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated understanding of/empathy for the needs of seniors.
• Willingness to update knowledge of changing regulations, practices, and procedures.
• Organizational and time-management skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents with ADLs according to the care plan.
• Monitor residents’ well-being and report changes to the Health and Wellness Manager.
• Provide general housekeeping, laundry, and recreational activities.
• Document Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Ensure health and safety by following procedures and protocols.
• Assist with dining service and resident admissions/discharges as required.
