Kenjgewin Teg is seeking a Casual Receptionist to provide front-line reception coverage at the Kenjgewin Teg Main Campus and ASIRC Building in M’Chigeeng. You will greet visitors, answer phones, and share information about programs and services while supporting routine front desk duties.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, basic computer literacy (MS Office), and flexibility for on-call coverage are required; First Aid is mandatory with First Nations mental health and Naloxone
HOURLY RATE: $18.60/HOUR
LOCATION: KENJGEWIN TEG MAIN CAMPUS AND ASIRC BUILDING IN M’CHIGEENG
The Casual Receptionist provides front-line reception coverage and helps create a welcoming and professional first point of contact for students, staff, visitors, and members of the public. This role is responsible for greeting individuals as they arrive, admitting students and visitors into the building, answering and directing phone calls, responding to general inquiries, and providing basic information about Kenjgewin Teg programs and services. The Casual Receptionist also supports regular reception duties to help ensure day-to-day front desk operations run smoothly, including supporting department staff when required. The Casual Receptionist will have an appreciation of Anishinabek culture, principles, values, language, history, and customs, and will be supportive of Anishinabek practices and protocols.
