Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Casual NSWOC RN to travel for homecare visits across Southwestern Ontario. You will provide advanced wound, ostomy and continence care, educate teams, and support clinical leadership initiatives within a flexible schedule.

Ideal candidates hold NSWOC certification with 2+ years of community nursing experience; IIWCC/WOCC(C) assets are welcomed. Competitive total rewards, including benefits and career development, are offered.

Qualifications

  • Active RN registration in Canada.
  • NSWOC certification or IIWCC coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' RN experience in community/home care with wound/ostomy/continence care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct wound/ostomy/continence assessment, care and management.
  • Educate patients, families and ParaMed care team.
  • Provide consultation to the care team (onsite or remote) including recommendations for specialty products.
  • Engage in wound/ostomy/continence clinical leadership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Precept ParaMed nurses as required.
  • Follow evidence-based practices and ParaMed policies.
