JOB SUMMARY

Please Note: This is a casual opportunity for one year with no experience necessary.On the jobtraining will be provided.

As aCasual Liquor Agent, you will be partnered with an AGLC Inspector, where your primary responsibility will be to enter licensed cannabis and liquor establishments and attempt topurchasecannabis and liquor to verify establishments are checking identification (ID).

In Alberta, a licensed establishmentis required toask anyone whoappears to beunder the age of 25 to provide ID whenattemptingto purchase cannabis or liquor.

While conducting visits, Casual Liquor Agents willbe responsible forthe collection of sufficient evidence, taking mental notes of the event, followed by the submission of written reports. Agents may alsobe requiredto appear at administrative hearings to give evidence.

The position is flexible and will accommodate weekdays, evenings, nights, or weekends. Travel with Inspectors to licensed liquor and cannabis establishments in both urban and rural Alberta!

Candidates must meet the operationalrequirementof youthful appearance.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Completion of a Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent isrequired. Applicants who have not yet completed their Grade 12 Diploma are encouraged to apply; however, they must clearlyindicatetheiranticipatedcompletion date in their application. Please note that the successful candidate must meet the minimum legal age requirement of 18 years at the time of employment.
