Job summary

Foundations for the Future Charter Academy is seeking a part-time/casual Supervision Assistant for the Southeast Elementary campus in Calgary. The role supports student safety during recess and helps maintain a clean, caring environment.

Responsibilities include supervising students on the playground or indoors when needed, recording incidents, and assisting with post-activity sanitization. The position reports to the Principal Educator and begins immediately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• A supportive and caring manner with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Enjoyment of being outdoors in all types of weather is essential.
• Emergency First Aid required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during recess on playground or indoors when needed.
• Ensure the designated area is left tidy and safe.
• Record and report unsafe behaviour or incidents; assist with sanitization.
