Foundations for the Future Charter Academy is seeking a part-time/casual Supervision Assistant for the Southeast Elementary campus in Calgary. The role supports student safety during recess and helps maintain a clean, caring environment.

Responsibilities include supervising students on the playground or indoors when needed, recording incidents, and assisting with post-activity sanitization. The position reports to the Principal Educator and begins immediately.

Located in Calgary, Foundations for the Future Charter Academy (FFCA) is the largestpublic charter school in Alberta, serving over 4300 students in eight campusesthroughout the city. We offer educational programming emphasizing character andleadership development through a distinctive teaching and learning frameworkemphasizing direct instruction that has been refined within the Alberta context forstudents from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our mission is to provide a safe and caringenvironment where the academic excellence, character development, parentalinvolvement and staff leadership are valued and fostered.Position SummaryA Supervision Assistant (formerly referred to as noon hour assistant) is required fora part-time/casual position at our Southeast Elementary campus beginningimmediately. This position will work 3 hours per day on school days from 10:00amReporting to the Principal Educator, the Supervision Assistant supervises thestudents during recess breaks outside on the playground or inside if weatherprohibits being outside. Also helps provide a clean, safe and caring environment.ResponsibilitiesTo include but not limited to:

• a. Providing supervision to students outside on the playground and fieldb. Ensuring the designated area is left tidy by the studentsc. Addressing student behavioural issues in accordance with school
• d. Recording and reporting of unsafe student behaviour or facilities/equipmente. Recording and reporting of accidents and/or incidentsf. Completing any necessary sanitization of equipment
• 2. Other related duties as assigned
