Job summary

Foundations For the Future Charter Academy in Calgary is seeking a part-time Supervision Assistant for Southeast or Southwest elementary campuses. The role is casual/on-call, 3 hours per day on school days from 10:25am to 2:00pm, beginning August 26, 2026.

You will supervise students during recess on the playground or indoors when weather prevents outdoor time. Reporting to the Principal Educator, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and caring environment, address minor behavioural issues, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and caring manner with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to students and staff.
• Enjoyment of outdoor activities in all weather conditions is essential.
• Emergency First Aid required.

Responsibilities

• Student supervision during recess on playground or indoor when needed.
• Ensure designated area is left tidy by students.
• Address student behavioural issues per school policy.
• Record and report unsafe student behaviour or facilities/equipment.
• Record and report accidents and/or incidents.
• Complete sanitization of equipment as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Position SummaryA Supervision Assistant (formerly referred to as noon hour assistant) is required fora part-time/casual position at our Southeast or Southwest elementary campusesbeginning August 26, 2026. This position will work on an as needed basis only, 3hours per day on school days from 10:25am – 2:00pm (times may vary dependingon the campus).Reporting to the Principal Educator, the Supervision Assistant supervises thestudents during recess breaks outside on the playground or inside if weatherprohibits being outside. Also helps provide a clean, safe and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Student Supervision
• a. Providing supervision to students outside on the playground and field
• b. Ensuring the designated area is left tidy by the students
• c. Addressing student behavioural issues in accordance with school
• d. Recording and reporting of unsafe student behaviour orfacilities/equipmente.
• e. Recording and reporting of accidents and/or incidents
• f. Completing any necessary sanitization of equipment
• 2. Other related duties as assigned
