BrightPath Kids in Calgary is hiring for a casual early childhood educator role at our Southwood East centre. You will develop and implement age-appropriate programs aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support children's development.

This position offers pay of $17-$19 per hour, with government wage enhancement, and includes benefits like childcare discounts, professional development support, retirement plan options, and paid holidays. No evenings or weekends, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education certification is required or equivalent.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Early Childhood Education - Level 3 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
