Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care in Sage Hill, AB is seeking a casual Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The role features a daytime schedule with no evenings or weekends, offering competitive pay of $17.00-$19.00 per hour and a wage enhancement.

You will implement BrightPath’s curriculum, support children's development, and collaborate with families. Requirements include ECE Level 3 or a B.Ed./Equivalent, First Aid/CPR, and immunization health assessment in line with provincial

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education - Level 3 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
