BrightPath Kids in Rundle, AB is hiring for a casual/supply/ substitute role in early childhood education. You will implement a BrightPath-aligned program and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children.

The position requires ECCE Level 1–3 or a B.Ed./equivalent, Alberta childcare eligibility, and standard first aid/ CPR. Competitive pay, benefits, and a childcare discount are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• ECCE Level 1-3 certification or B.Ed./equivalent.
• Must meet province childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization/health assessment per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a BrightPath curriculum-aligned program.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment.
• Assess children's abilities and discuss progress with parents/ staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend meetings and PD opportunities as needed.
• Support cleanliness and organization of materials.
• Perform other assigned duties.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
