Job summary

The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board is recruiting Early Childhood Educators for daily casual work across BGCDSB schools for the 2026/2027 school year. ECEs will partner with the classroom teacher to plan and implement a Catholic early learning program, provide supervision, and contribute to children’s developmental progress.

Qualifications include a post-secondary ECE credential (or in progress), registration with the Ontario College of ECE, and experience in an Early Learning Centre

Qualifications

• Post-secondary ECE credential or in progress.
• Registered member with Ontario College of ECE in good standing.
• Experience in an Early Learning Centre/Daycare.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and public.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Ability to work in stressful situations per policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a full-day Catholic ECE program with the classroom teacher.
• Provide supervision and age-appropriate programming.
• Collaborate in program design to support children's development across cognitive, physical, emotional and spiritual domains.
• Maintain professional communication with parents and staff.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
