Job summary

Karis Disability Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with developmental disabilities participate in daily activities, build community connections, and promote self-determination. You will work with families, advocates, and community partners to support meaningful citizenship and relationships.

Job description

Direct Support Professional employees build communities that value the contributions of people who experience developmental disabilities. They assist with activities of daily living, working collaboratively with families, advocates, friends, and community partners in order to promote full citizenship and enhance relationships. Requirements

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Valid Sask. Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 driver's license and access to reliable transportation
• Satisfactory Driver's Abstract

Preferred

• 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment)
• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
