Job summary

Karis Disability Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with developmental disabilities live independently in their homes and communities.

This permanent, part-time role offers flexible shifts (days, afternoons, some nights) and at least two weekends per month, with wages from 25.18 to 29.46 CAD per hour. Applicants from Harrow, Essex, McGregor, Cottam or Amherstburg are preferred, and a Full G license is required.

Job description

Direct Support Professional(DSP)employeeswork with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully inthecommunity.Direct Support Professionals recognizepeople's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, andtheysupport people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Permanent, part-time position//
Flex Rotation, minimum 32hrs bi-weekly, Shifts may include days, afternoons, occasional night shifts and minimum 2 weekends a month. Scheduled shifts will vary week to week based on program needs.//
Wage : $25.18 - $29.46 per hour//
Candidates who reside in or near the communities of Harrow, Essex, McGregor, Cottam, or Amherstburg will be considered an asset//
Full G license is required.//
