Job summary

Prairie Land Public School Division is seeking reliable, energetic casual custodians for Consort School. You will clean and sanitize the facilities in line with Alberta Health Services guidelines and perform routine tasks while standing for long periods.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated and able to work independently, with physical stamina. Training will be provided for equipment and chemical safety, and PPE is supplied. The position may require on-call coverage and split-shift work.

• Preference for knowledge of standard cleaning practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the school following Alberta Health Services guidelines.

We are searching for reliable, energetic custodians to join our team. Our ideal candidates will be self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the school strictly adhering to Alberta Health Services guidelines. You must be able to perform routine physical tasks while standing and walking for long periods. Physical strength and stamina are an asset. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of standard cleaning practices and procedures.

You will provide backup cleaning services on an on-call basis and may be required to work from time to time to cover split shifts. Training will be provided in the use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and the safe use of chemicals. Personal protective equipment will be provided.

Competition will remain open until suitable candidate are found.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check satisfactory to PLRD prior to commencement.
