Job summary

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and pick-ups on time, meeting security requirements

Job description

DHL Express has a casual Courier Driver opening in Mirabel, QC, paying $20.23/hour with increases set by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. This is a casual position with no set schedule; shift availability must fall between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Day-to-day work spans both driving and warehouse tasks. You'll complete deliveries and pick-ups, scan and sort freight, and assist with warehouse organization and clean-up throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned deliveries and pick-ups on time, meeting all security requirements on each run
• Drive a van for courier routes, interacting with customers at the service point and over the phone
• Scan and process freight according to agreed procedures and Security Policies
• Sort and process inbound material accurately, by deadline
• Move freight within the warehouse area as required
• Assist the Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts, on-hands and related issues
• Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs per piece throughout the shift
• Perform accurate reporting as required
• Participate in organizing and cleaning the warehouse area and maintaining a safe, co-operative work environment

Requirements
