Job summary

DHL Express in Quebec City, QC is seeking a Casual Courier Driver to join our team. This casual role has no set schedule; shifts run 7am–10pm.

The driver will operate a company van to complete deliveries and pickups, scan freight, and interact with customers at the service counter while maintaining safety and security standards. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, bilingual French and English, a valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record, basic MS

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English (required per Quebec's Bill 96).
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Broad general working knowledge of warehouse functions.
• Good knowledge of MS Office; comfortable Excel user.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong multitasking ability and ability to work under pressure.
• Able to handle bulky, heavy, awkward shipments and stand for long periods.
• Minimum one year of warehouse/customer service experience (asset).
• Understanding of First Choice Programs and Global SOP (asset).

Responsibilities

• Drive a company van to complete deliveries and pickups.
• Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs per piece.
• Scan and process freight per procedures and security policies.
• Sort and process inbound material by deadlines.
• Assist Tracing with warehouse checks for missorts and on-hands.
• Move freight within the warehouse as required.
• Interact with customers over the phone and at the service counter.
• Complete accurate reporting and assist in warehouse organization and clean-up.
• Meet security requirements and maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete other warehouse duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.

DHL Express is currently seeking a Casual Courier Driver in Quebec City, QC. This is a casual position with no set schedule; shift availability must be between 7am and 10pm.

Wage: $20.23/hour, with increases as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive a company van to complete assigned deliveries and pickups
• Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs per piece throughout the shift
• Scan and process freight per agreed procedures and security policies
• Accurately sort and process inbound material by deadlines
• Assist the Tracing Department with warehouse checks for missorts and on-hands
• Move freight within the warehouse area as required
• Interact with customers over the phone and at the service counter
• Perform accurate reporting and participate in warehouse organization and clean-up
• Meet all security requirements and maintain a safe, cooperative work environment
• Complete other warehouse duties as assigned by the shift supervisor
