Job summary

Connective is a dynamic non-profit in Vancouver seeking Casual Outreach Workers to assist clients referred by funders, helping them adjust to life in the community and address mental health and substance use challenges.

These roles require flexibility with hours; a minimum of 15 shifts per month, Monday–Saturday 0900–1800. A BC driver’s license and criminal records check are required, with First Aid certification preferred. Wage starts at $29.22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Social Services or a relevant field with one year of related experience.
• Crisis response and crisis intervention experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Receives referrals from funders and supports clients in the community.
• Develops an intervention plan with measurable short/long-term goals.
• Maintains records and completes monthly progress reports.
• Collaborates with professionals, family, and agencies to coordinate care.
