Job summary

Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) seeks a Bartender/Snack Bar Attendant to provide excellent customer service in our messes, golf and curling operations, and marinas. You will prepare beverages, assist in food service, and help with event setup and takedown.

You will operate a POS system, maintain a clean bar area and ensure compliance with provincial liquor laws. The role requires a high school diploma, bilingual English/French, RSA certification, and relevant food handling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in province.
• Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
• Food Handling certification as required.
• Good cash handling and financial accuracy.
• Strong communication, teamwork and leadership.
• Bilingual English/French essential.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Bartender/Snack Bar Attendant, you provide an excellent customer experience in our military messes, golf and curling operations and marinas. During big events to every day moments, you will build a rapport with the military community and get to experience various military traditions. The Bartender/Snack Bar Attendant will provide a variety of services such as preparing and serving beverages, preparing food and assisting in the set-up and take down of social and military functions. You will operate a Point of Sales system, provide a clean bar area and ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations. This is a role where everyone works as one team to provide the best customer experience for our members and contributes in creating a positive workplace. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

• Education, Certifications and Licenses
• High school diploma
• (OR An acceptable combination of education, training and experience)
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Province
• Must possess a Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
• Food Handling Certification, as required
• In food and beverage preparation
• In food and beverage service
• In serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
• In cash handling
• In preparing bank deposits and floats
• Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership
