Job summary

Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is hiring a Bartender/Snack Bar Attendant in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. You will prepare beverages, assist in food service and set-up for events, while operating a POS system and maintaining bar cleanliness.

Role requires bilingual English/French, compliance with liquor laws, and strong teamwork to deliver exceptional member experiences at messes, golf and curling facilities and marinas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
• Must possess Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
• Food Handling Certification, as required.
• Bilingual (English and French) essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages, prepare food and assist in set-up and take down of social and military functions.
• Operate a Point of Sales system and maintain a clean bar area.
• Ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer experience and work as a cohesive team.

THE ROLE

As a Bartender/Snack Bar Attendant, you provide an excellent customer experience in our military messes, golf and curling operations and marinas. During big events to every day moments, you will build a rapport with the military community and get to experience various military traditions.

The Bartender/Snack Bar Attendant will provide a variety of services such as preparing and serving beverages, preparing food and assisting in the set-up and take down of social and military functions. You will operate a Point of Sales system, provide a clean bar area and ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

High school diploma

(OR An acceptable combination of education, training and experience)

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Province

Must possess a Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification

Food Handling Certification, as required

Experience

In food and beverage preparation
