The Salvation Army Brantford Booth Centre seeks a casual relief worker for a 53-bed emergency hostel and corrections residence. The role offers shift flexibility, no guaranteed hours, and unionized status.
You will perform intake, assessments and referrals, while maintaining confidentiality and safety in a 24-hour service environment. Applicants should have a Social Service diploma or related experience, strong communication skills, and current First Aid/CPR.

POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY: The Brantford Booth Centre is a 53 bed emergency men’s hostel and Correctional Residence Facility, offering room and board to men who require transitional housing and federal release programs. It is a 24-hour operation. This is a casual relief position with no guaranteed hours. Flexibility in scheduling is required. The work schedule is determined in consultation with your supervisor and may vary according to requirements of responsibility. This is a Unionized position.

Compensation: The target hiring range for this position is $23.77 to $23.77 with a maximum of $23.77. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
