Job summary

Lifemark in North York, ON, is seeking a Case Coordinator for Medical Assessments at Viewpoint. The role is in-person at 235 Yorkland Blvd, North York, ON M2J 4Y8.

You will review referrals, schedule assessors, manage conflicts of interest, and ensure service SLAs are met while maintaining data accuracy and delivering strong customer service. Fluency in English is required; French-English bilingualism is an asset, and a clinical background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Statutory Accident Benefit Schedule (SABS).
• Clinical background (preferably a registered health professional).
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Strong attention to detail and good systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals to determine eligibility for medical evaluation.
• Screen for conflicts of interest and advise accordingly.
• Schedule services with medical and paramedical assessors.
• Arrange secondary services (transportation, interpretation) as needed.
• Create notifications in line with SLAs and directives for assessors.
• Maintain deadlines and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Status:Full Time -Permanent (in-person)

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for reviewing the specifics of potential referrals to ensure we can accept them for medical evaluation
• Screening for conflict of interest and advising the appropriate parties when this arises
• Scheduling the service(s) with our roster of medical and paramedical assessors
• Booking secondary service providers when necessary (e.g. transportation, interpretation).
• Creating notifications consistent with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Producing the relevant directives for the assessor(s)
• Meeting deadlines
• Data entry and data accuracy
• Customer service
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

• Require familiarity of the Statutory Accident Benefit Schedule (SABS).
